 Endrick Reveals Why He Signed for Real Madrid

Brazilian wonderkid Endrick has revealed the reason behind his decision to join Real Madrid, describing it as a lifelong dream inspired by watching Cristiano Ronaldo play for the Spanish giants during his childhood.

The highly rated forward was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabéu on July 27, 2024, marking a major milestone in his young career. Although an agreement between Real Madrid and Palmeiras was reached in December 2022, Endrick was only able to complete the move after meeting FIFA age requirements, as he turned 18 in July.

Endrick has revealed why he signed for Real Madrid. He said that it has become his dream to play for Real Madrid since he saw Cristiano Ronaldo playing for the Laliga biggest club.

Endrick is now the second signing this season from, He was unveiled today at the Santiago Bernabeu (July 27) as a Real Madrid player.

Endrick is expected to play as a central forward for Real Madrid and will gradually be integrated into the first team as he adapts to European football. Speaking during his first press conference, the Brazilian international expressed his admiration for the club and credited Cristiano Ronaldo as a major influence on his decision.

“I fell in love with Real Madrid the moment I watched Cristiano Ronaldo play here,” Endrick said, highlighting the impact the Portuguese legend had on his football journey. 

During Endrick first address at the press conference as a real Madrid player he announced that he loved the club since the day he saw his idol Cristiano Ronaldo playing at the club 

Endrick will be following his Idol footsteps as one of the most successful player in the club.

He made an outstanding record at his former Club Palmeiras with a record of  11 goals in 31 games in the Brazilian Serie A.

With high expectations surrounding him, Endrick will now aim to follow in the footsteps of his idol and establish himself as one of Real Madrid’s future stars.
